Does anyone know the name of the drugstore that was in town around the 1940's?
Linkenhoker's Sundries - It was owned and operated by my husband's grandfather, J. Mack Linkenhoker.
My mom lived with Mack when she was 10....her mom passed away. Mack & my grandpa were brothers. My mom worked in the drug store with Weber....Mack's daughter. You wouldn't by chance have any old photos of the drug store would you? And I guess I am related to your husband somehow. Lol
I think we have it figured out. I believe Mack was married to Bertha Hypes who was the sister of Oren Hypes, who was my grandfather.
Am looking for any pictures of drug store or the Ritz movie theater in Ansted. I'm putting together a scrapbook for the grand kids.
do thr Camerons still inhabit Ansted?
sorry about the spelling...have a broken finger.

i know this is morbid, but i am doing research on wv murders. I was told about a case were the police went into some man's house and found where he had killed some people. they found some body parts cooking on the stove and some in the fridge. i know it was in the early 70's between 72-75 during the spring/summer. i need to narrow down the timeframe. does anyone know about this case , what year it happened?
i need to update. the case i am asking about happened in the late seventies to early eighties.
